چکیده مقاله:

The aim of this research is predicting aggression based on early maladaptive schemas and problem-solving styles in students. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The statistical population of the present study consisted of ۱۰۰ undergraduate psychology students at the Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch. Based on the Morgan table, the sample size was ۸۰, selected by convenience sampling method. The research tools were the Buss and Buss & Perry's Aggression Questionnaire (۱۹۹۲), Young's Early Maladaptive Schemas Questionnaire (۱۹۹۴), and Cassidy and Long's Problem-Solving Styles Questionnaire (۱۹۹۶). For validity, the Lawshe's content validity ratio and for reliability, Cronbach's alpha were used, yielding values of ۰.۷۹۴ for aggression, ۰.۷۸۸ for early maladaptive schemas, and ۰.۷۸۶ for problem-solving styles. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to check normality, followed by regression analysis using SPSS software. The results showed that all research hypotheses were confirmed, indicating that aggression can be predicted based on problem-solving styles and early maladaptive schemas.
