Design and proposing a new Eye speculum Made of thermoplastic by injection molding technique

In this paper, a new method for eye speculums production has been presented. The eye speculum is used to avoid the eyes from closure during an eye surgery. Current eye speculums producefrom metal and besides their high expenses, they must be sterilized after each surgery. The newproposed eye speculum is produced through injection molding process and resolve thedisadvantages of the previous used eye speculums. Extremely Low production costs, beingdisposable unlike the metallic models, elimination of high stress on the eye and providinghygienic features are included in the proposed eye speculum’s benefits.
