The limitation of energy resources and the increasing consumption of it on the one hand and the excessive consumption of energy by different communities on the other hand, in addition to the pollution of the environment and the waste of national funds, have seriously threatened the lives of future generations. Considering the increasing trend of energy consumption in countries, especially in the building sector, the use of new resources and new technologies in order to move towards the design of green buildings is known as an effective and necessary step in the direction of reducing energy consumption. For this purpose, in the first stage of this research, the amount of energy consumption in the cooling and heating section of a building has been calculated by Design Builder simulator software. In the next step, energy consumption optimization has been studied after applying the proposed solutions in the sample building. The optimization solutions include insulating walls, using double-glazed windows, green roofs, using variable refrigerant flow systems, external awnings, etc., and also the effect of each of the parameters on energy consumption in the building separately and collectively. Was investigated. Finally, it was observed that with the simultaneous use of all modern optimization methods, the amount of energy consumption is reduced by ۸۰%. These methods are effective methods in the architectural design phase of the building and can be used by architects for the optimal design of buildings. In general, the move towards green buildings and the use of new energies have had a significant impact on optimizing energy consumption and should be widespread in all buildings in the near future.
