چکیده مقاله:

Mineral exploration is the process of discovering potential areas for mineral deposits like copper. This is done through geochemical exploration methods, one of which is the creation of geochemical anomaly maps. These maps are made using statistical techniques, which can be simple or complex depending on the spatial structures involved. Two main methods are used to identify promising areas with anomalies - non-structural and structural. The choice of method depends on factors such as the deposit type and sampling network. This study was conducted in the Zafarghand porphyry system located in Central Iran, an area with several copper deposits, including Zafarghand. The region's geological timeline includes Miocene magmatic activities, hydrothermal alterations, and copper structures. The study aimed to identify copper mineralization using the C-A and Median and Standard Deviation methods for geochemical anomaly separation to obtain the best results.
