چکیده مقاله:

Modern architecture, in concept, is distinguished by its special and unique style, and removing most of the extra decorations and setting aside the features of classical architecture are among the characteristics of this style. Modern and contemporary architecture is an architecture that tries to implement the urban organization left by the modern movement. Modern architecture, which is considered one of the most influential styles around the world, has had values and goals. From the beginning, this style gave great importance to rationalism and philosophy as well as technology. At the time of the beginning of the modern style, the use of technologies, especially metal and metal structure, began to be used in construction, and this increased the speed of construction. Despite the wide diversity of available solar technologies, solar energy systems are still not considered as main stream technologies in building practice. This may be attributed to several factors such as lack of awareness and knowledge among architects, lack of tools supporting the design process, and lack of solar products designed for building integration. By comparing today's buildings and buildings of modern architecture, we come to understanding that the objective of modern architecture is to provide comfort without taking environmental conditions into an account. In this study, the design is descriptive-analytical and data collection is done through field and documents. In order to create the right construction and preserve the environment, the materials used in buildings play a significant role. Choosing sustainable and suitable building materials reduces energy consumption and provides more health to the environment because these materials reduce fuel consumption in the direction Buildings are heated and this reduces the emission of air pollutants and greenhouse gases, as well as the use of natural resources is reduced and the society approaches sustainability criteria.
