Investigating voice abnormalities on the hearing performance of employees in one of Rafsanjan's projects

Hearing loss caused by noise and exposure to it in developing countries and the prevalence of this disorder is increasing, according to the statistics published by the National Organization for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in ۲۰۰۷, in the United States, about ۱۴% of occupational diseases are related to There has been hearing loss, ۸۲% of the reported cases have been related to workers in industrial sectors, and the purpose of this study was to determine the acoustic abnormalities and hearing loss in the workers of the drinking water treatment plant construction project in Rafsanjan city. In this research, the descriptive information of hearing loss (audiometric tests) of ۸۰ employees of the drinking water treatment plant construction project in Rafsanjan city and the measurement of harmful factors in the work environment with a statistical population of ۲۰ people, using sound analysis method, dosimetry tests were performed and the results show that there is a direct relationship between age, work experience, and hearing loss. According to the conducted audiometric tests, the rate of hearing loss caused by noise is in the age range of ۴۹-۵۹ years. Of course, in older age groups, the percentage of people who have normal hearing is lower. Based on the findings of this research, the most severe hearing loss is related to work records of ۱۶-۲۰ years, and according to the statistical analysis and available data, between hearing loss and there is a significant relationship between work experience and the conclusion of the findings showed that some work units of the site have a high prevalence of noise pollution and hearing loss, and in cases where it is higher than ۸۵ decibels, safe prevention methods should be used and examinations Hearing every ۶ months and measuring harmful factors annually and comparing it with the previous periods is recommended.
