Identification and evaluation of financing methods of companies related to chemical and polymer industries in Tehran Stock Exchange

The purpose of this research is to identify and evaluate the financing methods of companies related to chemical and polymer industries in Tehran Stock Exchange. The current research is an applied research; In this research, the effects of each of the indicators on each other have been measured using the AHP-TOPSIS technique by asking experts. The statistical population of this research includes 35 faculty members who are members of accounting groups, financial managers, capital market activists and CEOs of chemical and polymer companies in 2023. From the point of view of experts, the most important and main financing methods among 11 methods The case of study, respectively, includes financing through equity; financing through debt issuance; commercial banks and short-term, medium-term and long-term loans; Accumulated profit and alternative assets such as land and building fund and project fund. Among the studied companies, respectively, Iran Carbon Company, Sina Chemical Company and Shiraz Petrochemical Company have the most favorability in terms of using financing methods, and also Islah Mining Company of Iran, Khark Petrochemical Company and Laabiran Company are in the last ranks of this study.
