چکیده مقاله:
The game motivates learning and attracts the attention and relationship of learners. It reduces themonotony and boredom of teaching-learning environments and creates a happy and livelyatmosphere. In some games, learners practice and repeat difficult concepts or skills withoutrealizing it. By creating social relationships through games, in addition to teaching cognitiveconcepts, educators also achieve some educational goals, emotional and attitudinal learning. Thecurrent research was conducted using a library review method, the purpose of which was toinvestigate the effect of group games on learning English. The results of the research show thatteachers can achieve more goals by involving students in planning and preparing the necessaryequipment for the game. A good educational game can teach students how to assess risks, dealwith new events and issues, logical thinking and make decisions while creating fun and excitementfor learners.
