Currently, the need for electrical energy sources presents a significant challenge in many industries. While clean and renewable energy is an effective means of generating power and mitigating environmental pollution, it is crucial in today's technologically advanced era to utilize resources that are easily accessible and adaptable in all conditions. Mechanical energy is one of the environmental sources that piezo and tribo Nano-generators convert into electrical energy. The triboelectric Nano-generator is a cutting-edge technology that harnesses the triboelectric effect. This technology has garnered significant attention due to its ability to recover energy from movements and its remarkable efficiency as a sensor and energy-harvesting device. Nano-generators can transform mechanical energy from various sources like human body movements, wind energy, sound energy, raindrops, water flow, and waves into electrical energy. This electrical energy can facilitate catalytic and chemical reactions, power electronic devices, and activate self-generated sensors. Current research introduces triboelectric Nano-generators' characteristics, performance, and applications as a new, clean, low-cost energy source. There is hope that triboelectric Nano-generators will be available in the industrial market by ۲۰۲۷, and investing in this area could provide a viable alternative for powering the world.
