Computer Aided Low Voltage Short Circuit Laboratory Design and Simulation

Short circuit laboratories are the main part of the electrical industries.Electrical components test in these laboratories and their qualities approved. In this paper a low voltage short circuit laboratory for testing circuit breakers up to 125 A, 400 volt and 125 kA short circuit rating has been designed and simulated. This laboratory is direct type and connected to the power network. The short circuit power required for the test has been determined.
