چکیده مقاله:

Glycidyl nitrate is a high-energy compound from the family of oxiranes that is used as amonomer for the synthesis of the high-energy binder poly glycidyl nitrate. This paper describes a methodfor the synthesis of glycidyl nitrate from chloro-epoxypropane and nitric acid, in the presence of aKaolin@SO۳H@Fe۳O۴ new catalyst. This catalyst was a very strong, acidic, harmless (green chemistry),and inexpensive substrate. In the study, the glycidyl nitrate was synthesized by this new catalyst andcharacterized by FTIR and C۱ and H۱ NMR spectroscopy. The Kaolin@SO۳H@Fe۳O۴ catalyst wascharacterized by FTIR, XRD, EDAX, and FESEM spectroscopy.
