چکیده مقاله:
This study introduces a novel, environmentally friendly, and highly efficient heterogeneous magneticnanocatalyst, NCP@POCl۲-x (Fe۳O۴@SiO۲@CS@POCl۲-x), considered for the synthesis of α-β-unsaturated carboxylic acid.The catalyst, POCl۲-x, with the help of water, and heat, effectively transforms β-hydroxy nitrile into α-β-unsaturatedcarboxylic acid through a specific mechanism. The reactions exhibit notable regioselectivity, yielding products with highpurity and quantitative outcomes. With its ease of recovery through external magnetic force, NCP@POCl۲-x combinesheterogeneity, magnetic properties, straightforward recovery, and outstanding performance, positioning it as a valuablecatalyst for efficient and selective transformations of β-hydroxy nitrile.
