This paper presents a model for a smart grid to participate in the energy market. The proposed smart grid consists of diesel generator (DG), wind turbines (WT), and small battery storage power station (BSPS). Also, the impact of air pollution and carbon dioxide (CO۲) emissions of the DG is considered. Two different scenarios are implemented to demonstrate the robustness of the presented framework. The smart grid aims to provide the maximum net profit via programing its production units and BSPS so that meeting the operational requirements of the distribution system.
