IoT and ML has undergone many changes in human life in the last decade. Almost all sectors of industry and social relationsand urban affairs, including transportation, public administration, require the use of IoT and ML technology. Today, ML andIoT-based green, smart, and zero-energy buildings have expanded tremendously to protect the environment and reducepollution and save time and money. This article examines the issues in these buildings that have been considered by researchersin recent years with the use of IoT and Ml. By reviewing and categorizing the evaluated criteria in these buildings, includingpollution assessment, cost reduction, energy saving, environmental impact, etc., the first few priorities for the use of thistechnology are examined and presented at the end
