چکیده مقاله:

Using the metal catalysts by the application in heavy oil upgrading have been focused by the vast majority of researchers. In this research, application of industrial wastes in heavy oil upgrading was studied. Due to limited sources of energy and the importance of waste recovery, this research was focused on the application of industrial wastes in heavy oil upgrading by considering the environmental concerns. IP-۱۴۳ standard method was applied to analyze the alteration of pollutant heavy molecules of asphaltene contents. The results showed that the industrial catalytic wastes could break the asphaltene molecules and consequently decrease the contents. The studies were run in different volume percentage of waste at ۱, ۱.۵ and ۲%V which could lower the asphaltene content to ۹.۲, ۸.۵ and ۸% in orderly. Considering the results of this research, the collecting the wastes from environment and applying them in heavy oil upgrading may diminish the need for specific surface heavy oil refinery. This definitely may lower the capital and operational costs related to the heavy asphaltene contents in surface lines and facilities.
