چکیده مقاله:

Thermal oil recovery methods are known as the most usual methods for heavy oil recovery. But such methods have their own economic and environmental challenges like providing the steam and also emission of CO۲ gas. Hence, catalytic enhanced oil recovery method is known as a novel and economic method. The most of such catalysts are metals which one of the collecting such metals from environment to prevent their harmful impacts is applying them in heavy oil recovery. In this research, by using the industrial wastes, their application in in-situ heavy oil upgrading and heavy oil recovery was investigated. The laboratory analysis like wettability and EOR tests in micromodel showed the acceptable effect of such wastes on improving the heavy oil quality and also enhancing oil recovery. So, collecting such wastes from environment to upgrade heavy oil and also their elimination from environment.
