Developing Visual and Instant Copper Metal Sensors in Aqueous Environments UsingPolymeric Nanocomposite for Detection of Trace Amounts

A portable and sensitive polymeric nanocomposite sensor was developed for detecting Cu۲+ ions inwater. It displayed exceptional selectivity and sensitivity, with a reported detection limit (LOD) of ۱ ppm. Thesensor induced a significant color change to green in solutions containing copper ions.
