Synthesis of Co-Mg-Al/layered triple hydroxide@ZIF-۸ nanocomposite as an efficientadsorbent for the removal of diazinon pesticide from aqueous media

A Co-Mg-Al/LTH@ZIF-۸ nanocomposite was synthesized to eliminate the pesticide diazinon from anaqueous solution. The results showed that ۹۵.۵% of diazinon was removed under optimized conditions (initialconcentration of diazinon = ۹.۷ mg·L–۱, pH = ۷.۷, adsorbent dose = ۱۶.۹ mg, and contact time = ۲۵ min).
