Bio-base pigment based on waste pomegranate peels for Natural Ink

Today natural pigments are attracted much attention because of environmental accepts and humanhealth in all area of related industries. In this work we reported extraction of dyes from waste of pomegranatepeel to prepare an aluminum lake pigment for ink formulation, the extraction process was studied by the use ofthe response surface methodology (RSM). Preparation of lake pigments of different metal content were studiedby uv-vis spectrophotometry, FTIR, SEM and DSC analysis. The results suggest that obtained lake pigments havegood potential for use in ink formulation
