Mononuclear copper(II) complexes containing chelating ligand of N-(pyridin-۲-ylmethyl)butan-۲-amine as chromotropic probe

The synthesis of a mononuclear copper(II) complexes of formula [LCuBr۲] where L is a bidentate ligandof N-(pyridin-۲-ylmethyl)butan-۲-amine is reported. The complex is fully characterized by physic chemicaltechniques. The structure of the complex is a distorted square-planar arrangement around copper(II) ion. Thechromotropism behavior of the complex, including thermo- and solvatochromism, was investigated
