Synthesis, characterization and studies on host-guest interactions of inclusion complexesof metformin hydrochloride with sulfobutylether-β-cyclodextrin

This study was to synthesize and characterization the host-guest complex of metformin. The hostguestinteraction of metformin with SBE-β-CD in order to complexation drug in SBE-β-CD were investigated.The stability constant and solubility constant were obtained in this studty. Inclusion complexes werecharacterized by using FTIR, XRD, UV-Vis, DSC and ¹ HNMR techniques.
