Effect of Silica Nanoparticles on Tensile Strength and Hardness in Polyurethane Hot MeltAdhesive

A hot melt adhesive of polyurethane (HMPUA) was synthesized and investigate some of its mechanicalproperties nano silica was used as the additive. With the addition of the nano silica (۰.۴ w%), the mechanicalproperties such as; tensile strength, elongation at break and hardness were improved (۲.۰۲ MPa, ۳۴۳%, and ۵۰respectively).
