چکیده مقاله:

In this research, a new paper based microfluidic device (μPAD) is introduced that is able to measurethe antioxidant power and total content of phenol and flavonoids in plant samples with colorimetric method.This μPAD is made by creating an appropriate design on a Whatman paper substrate. For widely used testsincluding (۲,۲'-azino-bis(۳-ethylbenzothiazoline-۶-sulfonic acid, Total phenol content, Total flavonoid contentand ferric reducing antioxidant power) analysis was performed by measuring the colour changes caused by theinteraction of the indicators with the real sample. The applicability of the proposed method was investigated bydetermining those properties of four different plant samples (green tea, black tea, Lavandula and Matricaria)and comparison with the standard samples
