In recent years, there has been a growing interest in developing novel drug delivery systems toimprove the efficacy and safety of pharmaceuticals. Citrate nanowhiskers have emerged as promising candidatesfor drug carriers due to their biocompatibility and tunable properties. In this study, we explore the potential ofcellulose nanowhiskers citrate (CNW) grafted with Poly glycerol as drug delivery carriers. The functionalizationof CNW with glycidol allows for enhanced drug loading capacity and controlled release kinetics. The succesfullpreparation of the graft copolymer was confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopy. SEM and XRD results confirmed thatcrystalline structure as well as morphology of CCNW has not been changed during graft polymerization
