چکیده مقاله:

MXene is a two-dimensional nanomaterial that belongs to the family of transition metal carbides ornitrides. Indeed, these layered nanomaterials have recently gained significant attention due to their attractiveproperties. MXenes have inherent high-level features, including high activity, water friendliness, rich adjustablesurface groups, chemical stability, and biological compatibility. This study demonstrated that surfacemodification of MXenes with tannic acid (TA) can create an efficient adsorbent for the simultaneous removal oftwo commonly used dyes, methylene blue (MB) and crystal violet (CV). The adsorption efficiency after ۶۰minutes is ۶۹% for methylene blue and ۷۵% for crystal violet. For this, the MXene was synthesized by Al-selectiveetching of Ti۳AlC۲ MAX phase using HF. Furthermore, the MXene exhibited relatively good recyclability, enablingits repeated use. The results of this work may give an insight into the practical application of MXene for theremediation of polluted water.
