چکیده مقاله:

۱-(۴,۶-dimethyl pyrimidin-۲-yl)-۳-phenylthiourea was synthesized and used as new modifier in thecarbon paste electrode. The best electrode response was obtained by ۱۲% ionophore,۷۰% graphite powder and۱۸% paraffin oil. The Hg۲+ selective CPE showed a Nernstian slop of ۲۹.۱ mV/decade within the concentrationrange of ۳ × ۱۰-۲ to ۷ × ۱۰-۸ mol L-۱. The electrode has short response time of less than ۵ s and was usedsuccessfully to potentiometric determination of Hg۲+.
