Synthesis and Spectroscopic Characterization of P(O)(OC۶H۵)۲(NHC۶H۴-۴-Cl) andP(O)(OC۶H۵)۲(NHC۶H۴-۴-C۲H۵)

The P(O)(OC۶H۵)۲(NHC۶H۴-۴-Cl) (I) and P(O)(OC۶H۵)۲(NHC۶H۴-۴-C۲H۵) (II) phosphoramides weresynthesized and characterized. In the IR spectra, the bands centered at ۳۱۸۰ cm–۱ for (I) and at ۳۱۷۲ cm–۱ for(II) associate to the NH stretching frequencies, and the P=O stretching bands appear at ۱۲۳۱ and ۱۱۹۵ cm–۱,respectively. In the mass spectra, the molecular ion peaks are revealed (m/z = ۳۵۹ for (I) and ۳۵۳ for (II)).Phosphorus signals for (I) and (II) appear at –۶.۹۶ and –۶.۳۶ ppm, respectively.
