For plastic waste management, recycling is known as an environmental and non-destructive method. The purpose of this research is to investigate the recyclability of high density polyethylene composites filled with oak powder (WF). Two different composite formulations (۳۰ and ۵۰ wt% filler) were considered, each with ۳ wt% maleic indride (MA) coupling agent. Both composites were reprocessed ۶ times separately using extrusion. The test samples were injection molded in order to measure the mechanical and thermomechanical properties. Fiber length measurement and gel permeation chromatography (GPC) were performed to investigate the change in fiber length and polymer molecular weight. To gain a better understanding of the effect of recycling on composite properties, ۲.۲.۱۱ Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) (DSC), Thermal Gravitational Analysis (TGA), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy ( FTIR) was also used. After processing six times, WF-HDPE composites showed a relative decrease in strength and hardness properties and a slight increase in tensile properties compared to the initial composite. Strain properties with recycling had some increase in their values. The crystallinity of HDPE decreased, but the thermal stability of the composite increased with reprocessing
