A New Era in Space: A Review of Small Satellite Mission Reliability Analysis

This study investigates the reliability of small satellites (۳۵kg-۴۰۰kg) launched from ۱۹۹۱ to ۲۰۲۲,analyzing ۹۳۴ satellites. It employs the Kaplan-Meier estimator and Weibull models to uncover reliability trendsand categorizes satellites by mission type and launch year to identify failure-prone subsystems. The goal is toimprove future satellite designs, testing, and reliability planning by using historical data.
