Comparison of photoautotrophic and mixotrophic growth and product formation bySpirulina platensis

This study investigated the impact of varying glucose concentrations (۰.۵–۲ g/L) on Spirulina platensisgrowth and products formation. The highest biomass (۲.۷۵ g/L) and starch (۱۲۶.۴۸ mg/L) concentrationscorresponded to ۲ g/L glucose, indicating the adaptation of S. platensis to high glucose environments. Glucoserichmedium notably supported starch production.
