Most of studies and due developed RBI Analyses which are substantially based on API RP-۵۸۰ & API RP-۵۸۱ Standards consider the wind turbine system merely like a mechanical component, and pay little or no enough attention to the subsea power transmission lines, cables and systems that transfer the offshore wind turbine generated power to the shore sub-station facilities and due electricity consumers. This will cause the performed RBI Analysis results be less focused on the importance of the integrity of these subsea power transmission lines and therefore, the overall integrity and reliability of the assumed offshore wind energy conversion system may be decreased significantly. In this paper a tentative correction factor is defined based on mathematical methods to be applied for evaluation of “Consequences” in RBI analysis of offshore wind turbines which are going to be analyzed in accordance with API RP-۵۸۰ & API RP-۵۸۱ Standards.
