چکیده مقاله:

The objective of the present study is to predict mental health based onparenting self-efficacy, alexithymia, and spirituality in mothers of childrenwith a learning disorder. This research is a descriptive study and, in termsof data collection, it is a correlational study. The research populationincluded all the mothers of children with a learning disorder who visited theKhorramabad Center of Learning Disorders during the ۲۰۲۲-۲۳ school yearand, considering the research methodology of this study, ۲۰۰ of theseindividuals were selected through convenience sampling and responded tothe research instrument. To collect the data, the General HealthQuestionnaire (Goldberg & Hiller, ۱۹۷۹), Parenting Self-efficacy (Dumkaet al., ۱۹۹۶), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (Bagby et al., ۱۹۹۴), and KingSpiritual Intelligence Scale (King, ۲۰۰۸) were used. The collected data wasanalyzed using Pearson correlation and simultaneous multiple regression inthe SPSS-۲۱ software package. Our findings showed that mental health canbe predicted based on parenting self-efficacy, alexithymia, and spirituality(p < ۰.۰۵). Therefore, parents of children with a learning disorder need topay attention to these factors.
