چکیده مقاله:

This paper introduces a novel approach for detection of twodirectionalmovement based on De Bruijn sequences inprecise automation applications. Traditional rotary encoders,employing De Bruijn sequences, have been effective indetecting single-directional movement; however, theynecessitate an additional sensor to capture bidirectionalmovement. The proposed novel methodology eliminates thisneed by enhancing De Bruijn sequence-based detection,enabling the identification of both clockwise andcounterclockwise movements without the requirement forsupplementary sensors. This advancement holds significantimplications for automation systems, offering a morestreamlined and efficient solution for angular movementdetection. Improved capability of De Bruijn sequence-basedencoders to discern bidirectional movement makes themparticularly valuable in robotics and automation applications
