This paper explores the strategic implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in theairline industry's human capital management. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach,combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with HR professionals and executivesin the airline sector. The research focuses on identifying critical KPIs in various HR functions,evaluating their effectiveness, and discussing challenges in implementation. Findings reveal thatKPI-driven strategies significantly enhance recruitment efficiency, employee engagement,performance management, and learning and development. The study also highlights a positivecorrelation between KPI implementation and improved organizational outcomes such asoperational efficiency and employee satisfaction. However, challenges like selecting relevantKPIs, data integration, and ensuring employee buy-in were identified. Based on the findings,strategic recommendations for HR practitioners in the airline industry are provided. The paperconcludes with suggestions for future research directions, emphasizing the need for longitudinalstudies, cross-industry comparisons, and exploration of the impact of emerging technologies onKPI-driven human capital management. This research contributes to the strategic humanresource management literature by offering insights into the effective use of KPIs in enhancingorganizational performance and competitiveness in the airline industry.
