This essay presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of health law in virtual spaces, focusing on the healthcare systems in Iran and the United States. In an increasingly digitized world, virtual health and telemedicine are transformative tools in healthcare delivery. We study explores the legal frameworks, regulations, and challenges that shape the practice of telemedicine in both countries.The analysis provides an overview of the historical development of health law in both nations, tracing the roots of healthcare regulations from ancient Persia to the modern United States. The study also reviews the role of licensure requirements in ensuring healthcare providers' competence, ethical practice, and critical privacy protections.The study addresses the unique challenges and opportunities in each country's healthcare landscape. It highlights the need for health law modernization in Iran, where historical legal frameworks coexist with contemporary healthcare demands. It considers the dynamic nature of health law in the United States, where the evolving virtual health landscape poses regulatory challenges.Through this analysis, the study underscores the importance of developing and adapting legal frameworks to adjust technological advancements while safeguarding patient interests, ultimately contributing to the evolution of health law in the virtual space and enhancing the quality, safety, and equity of healthcare delivery in both nations.
