چکیده مقاله:

With the start of the Covid-۱۹ pandemic, crime and delinquency have increased all over the world and spread insecurity. In the meantime, hate crimes have spread more and more in this era and have targeted the identity and personality of the affected people as well as East Asian communities. of the people of East Asian societies. The occurrence of hate crimes, which are crimes that are committed with the motive of hatred of the identity characteristics of the victim, such as ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, and gender, has been increasing against the sufferers and Asians all over the world, and spreading hatred against the identity of this groups dehumanize them and intensify their feeling of insecurity and victimization.Method: The present research is descriptive-analytical and by using library resources, i.e., books and authentic articles related to the subject, in order to analyze the problem and finally draw a conclusion.Ethical considerations: In this research, the ethical aspects of library study, including the authenticity of texts, honesty and fidelity have been observed.Results: Factors such as bigotry, prejudice and hateful attitudes played an important role in the increase of hate crimes during the Covid-۱۹ epidemic around the world, and the process of social stigmatization of people with Corona and some Asian people is also rooted in these prejudices that ultimately leads to hate crime.Conclusion: By explaining these factors and analyzing the process of the impact of the Covid-۱۹ pandemic on the increase in hate crimes with a criminological approach, this article comes to the conclusion that in addition to intensifying the punishment for such crimes, de-hating through strengthening the cohesion of different groups and communities and modifying dominant discourses with the help of media and space can be effective in reducing hate crimes caused by the Covid-۱۹ pandemic.
