چکیده مقاله:
The right to mental health is one of the main components of the right to health and one of the most important examples of children's rights. Various factors are effective in threatening or realizing this right of children, and cyberspace is one of them. Virtual space is important because nowadays children spend a lot of time in that environment, and this happens while a significant part of this space is not only not suitable for the specific age and mental-psychological condition of children, but also It also leaves harmful effects on their soul and spirit. This article, with a descriptive-analytical method, does not answer the question: how can the right to mental health of children be realized in cyberspace according to Iran's legal system? To answer this question, various children's rights in cyberspace such as the right to education, the right to privacy, the right to security, and the right to play and have fun and their relationship with the right to children's mental health have been investigated. . The results of this research indicate that the legal system in the field of protecting children's rights has put comprehensive measures in front of the government. In Islam, the health of people is emphasized in many verses and traditions. However, in Iran's legal system, although measures have been taken to protect the mental health of children in cyberspace, in practice, there is a long way to reach the desired situation.
