Legal protection of children's right to health in the face of economic activities in cyberspace

Background and aim: Children's right to health is considered as one of the important branches of the right to human health, due to the global expansion of cyberspace, protecting this right is very important, especially for children. Economic activities in the virtual space that are aimed at the children of the community or that children participate in doing or advertising are among the topics that the legislator should pay special attention to. This research examines the rules and legal protections of children's right to health in relation to economic activities in cyberspace.Method: This research is theoretical and its method is descriptive-analytical. The method of collecting library information is done by referring to documents, books and articles.Ethical considerations: In all stages of writing the present research, while respecting the originality of the text, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed.Findings: Iran's relevant laws, inspired by the general principles of jurisprudence and law, as well as taking into account international documents, have tried to regulate the use of virtual space and have tried to carry out economic and commercial activities as well as advertising in this regard. to organize in a reasonable and logical way and in this direction to some extent (not in a favorable and complete way) the protection of children's physical and mental health has been considered in the laws and approval letters.Conclusion: In the laws and approval letters related to the virtual space and economic activities in this space, the right to health of children should be guaranteed both morally and socially, as well as from the legal and criminal aspect, and effective monitoring tools and strict criminal policy in this especially apply.
