چکیده مقاله:
Background and purpose: Due to the fact that the slum areas have a high population density, therefore the gathering of economically and socially vulnerable people, with low education, in uncertain public health conditions and less access to goods and health services of the citizens living in these areas and the characteristics of the citizens living in the areas The slum dweller is a major challenge in facing an epidemic that can spread to other urban areas and have irreparable consequences.Method: This research is of a theoretical type and the research method is descriptive-analytical, and the method of collecting information is library-based, referring to documents, books and articles.Ethical considerations: In all stages of writing the present research, while respecting the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed.Findings: The findings of the research indicate that the current increasing development of slums, which lack proper city standards and services in terms of urban planning, and in terms of special environmental conditions and the lack of proper health and treatment facilities in these areas, causes the spread of infectious and epidemic diseases. Which in terms of criminology also leads to consequences such as an increase in crimes, a feeling of insecurity and the spread of unemployment.Conclusion: In order to maintain the health of the slum citizens in line with criminal issues, regarding the establishment of health and treatment facilities and infrastructures in the slum areas to improve the health and hygiene of the citizens living in these areas; Sufficient and equal access to medical and pharmaceutical items, immediate, short and long-term health and treatment services, and on the other hand, access to sufficient information and providing the possibility of proper use of information regarding the characteristics of the disease, how it is acquired and the implementation of health care.
