چکیده مقاله:
The right to mental health is one of the main components of the right to health and one of the most important manifestation of the children's rights. Nowadays, it is essential to analyze the issues as a result of which it is possible to restore the rights of children restricted due to the existence of the new information media called cyberspace. Cyberspace is important since children spend a lot of their time there while a significant part of this space is not only unsuitable for the specific age and mental-psychological condition of children but also has harmful effects on their soul and spirit. This paper investigates the children's health rights and cyberspace by descriptive-analytical documentary method by studying the content of laws related to children's health rights and cyberspace. The required information has been extracted from the reports and laws available on the website, books and scientific articles and related theses in this field. The findings showed that comprehensive measures have been proposed for the governments in the international human rights system, especially in the field of protecting children's rights. In Islam, the individuals' health has been emphasized in many verses and traditions. However, in Iran's legal system, although measures have been taken to protect the children's mental health in cyberspace, there is a long way to reach the desired state in practice.
