چکیده مقاله:

Electric The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia will be the world’s first ۱km+ tall building upon completion. Megaprojects of this unprecedented scale carry substantial risks that can lead to failure if not proactively managed. This research conducts a comprehensive analysis of the key risks present throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of the Jeddah Tower project. A mixed methods approach combines literature review, structured expert interviews, quantitative probabilistic modeling, and case studies of similar supertall structures to identify and assess risks. The analysis categorizes risks by type and priority level based on likelihood and potential impact. Results reveal the most significant risks including foundation design, labor availability, supply chain delays, and quality control. Targeted mitigation strategies are recommended such as modular construction, risk-sharing contracts, geographic labor diversification, and continuous real-time monitoring. The findings provide an invaluable reference for the project team to minimize chances of failure through strategic risk management. Moreover, the methodologies and innovations proposed can influence construction practices for future megastructures and advancement of the broader industry.
