Review of the existence and manifestation of the sky in the architectural space

Iranian traditional architecture is a fine, beautiful and admirable architecture, in all ages, and although fully understand the concepts of aesthetics is difficult, but due to the manifestations of beauty, it is still the focus of attention. Since, the initial understanding of the effective aesthetic factors is possible in perception of the pleasant environment. In the optimistic case, it can be expressed that, in today’s world machine, with no signs of human comfort and tranquility, recognition and analysis features of spaces that could have an impact of peace and tranquility on the audience is a subject that this article is trying to study.One of the categories, which have led to expressions of beauty in traditional Iranian architecture, is the sky in the living space. The present article shows that the presence of sky in the space of human life, in addition to the physical comfort based on climate issues, compliance, it has been a comfort in terms of psychology. In fact, since, nowadays, people around the world have surrounded their living space, work or even their resort indoor and by tall buildings, the necessity to examine the presence of the sky, both aesthetically and in terms of ventilation and light, is necessary. Therefore, in this article, definitions and assumptions arise in general, then, continuing, the necessities and all types of sky and its display will be reviewed
