Efficient water transportation in urban pipelines is vital for sustainability. This study assesses pressure drop and friction to minimize energy loss and identifies key factors affecting water vapor transport. Using thermodynamic principles and precise engineering calculations, it accurately predicts water vapor behavior. The system's pressure drop is influenced by elevation changes, water vapor compression, and friction energy dissipation, with friction being the most significant factor. Larger-diameter pipes are suggested for improved efficiency. The research also explores the phase change from water to vapor and its distribution, presenting a theoretical model for vapor transfer. It investigates the impact of pipe diameter, length, and temperature on water consumption and examines the effects of temperature and pressure on vapor purification, highlighting the high water quality provided. The study finds that the system's pressure drop is primarily influenced by elevation change, water vapor compression, and friction energy dissipation, with compressibility having minimal impact. Additionally, it notes that lower temperatures enable smoother transmission through the pipe, reducing energy consumption. This study offers valuable insights into optimizing water vapor transport, emphasizing the importance of friction management and the potential benefits of larger-diameter pipes for urban water distribution systems
