Ultrasonic technologies have been developed and expanded rapidly in recent decades, and their applications in the industry have created a demand for circuits with the ability to drive the piezoelectric transducers at high frequency and high voltage, e.g., non-destructive testing (NDT), thickness measurement, velocity measurement, level measurement, atomization. This research will present circuit design, simulation, schematic design, PCB design, PCB production, and testing steps for a piezoelectric driver circuit with a maximum operating frequency of ۱۸ MHz for sinusoidal input and ۱۲ MHz for digital input. It has an adjustable gain between ۲۲ (۲۶.۸۴ dB) and ۱۵۰ (۴۳.۵۲ dB) by potentiometer. By ±۱۸V power supply, the output can be between ۰ and ۶۵V, with a maximum ۱۲۰mA load current. The user can choose between two input modes, sinusoidal or digital (pulse), using a switch (mechanical or controllable with a digital circuit). The output resistance of the amplifier circuit is ۹.۳ Ω and ۱۳.۵ Ω for ۱۲ MHz and ۱۸ MHz, respectively. Furthermore, the circuit has the ability to operate capacitive loads.
