چکیده مقاله:
Smart grid technologies can be defined as self-sufficient systems that quickly find solutions to problems in order to reduce workforce and provide sustainable, reliable, safe, and quality electricity to consumers. Although technological application studies for smart grid structures have not been fully completed in many countries, these studies are crucial for establishing standards and economic benefits in the long term. This review focuses on data transmission methods, energy efficiency, and smart grid applications, serving as a guiding source for researchers and engineers in this field. The Smart Grid combines hardware, management software, and an intelligent infrastructure to enable two-way communication between utility companies and consumers, resulting in cost savings, energy conservation, transparency, and reduced carbon emissions. The scope of the Smart Grid has expanded due to new requirements and demands in the electricity industry, research organizations, and governments, aiming for a clean, safe, secure, reliable, resilient, efficient, and sustainable electric system. This report explores the application of Smart Grid technology in various fields, highlighting its benefits.
