Characterized by a range of symptoms including irregular menstrual cycles, hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovaries, PCOS presents a complex challenge for both diagnosis and management. The syndrome's etiology is multifactorial, involving genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. This comprehensive review aims to explore the various predictive factors associated with PCOS, encompassing genetic predispositions, hormonal imbalances, metabolic dysfunctions, lifestyle influences, and potential environmental triggers. Characterized by symptoms such as menstrual irregularities, hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovaries, PCOS presents a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations. The multifaceted nature of PCOS makes it a challenge to diagnose and manage effectively.
