چکیده مقاله:

Introduction/problem statement: Endometrial hyperplasia, which has recently been called endometrial intra-epithelial neoplasia (EIN), refers to a range of morphological and biological changes in the endometrial glands and stroma, varying from physiological state exacerbation to endometrial carcinoma. In most studies, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, external hormone use, number of pregnancies, infertility, nulliparity, and higher education have been reported as risk factors predisposing to endometrial hyperplasia (۱). The most common classification of endometrial hyperplasia is the classification of the World Health Organization in ۱۹۹۴, which defines it based on structural morphology and cellular irregularity with or without cellular atypia. It includes types of simple and complex hyperplasia with or without cellular atypia (۲). According to the studies, there is a possibility of progression from endometrial hyperplasia to endometrial carcinoma in ۱% of cases with simple hyperplasia (۳), ۳% of cases with complex hyperplasia, ۸% of patients with simple atypical hyperplasia, and ۲۹% of patients with atypical complex hyperplasia (۴-۵). The chance of endometrial carcinoma is significantly increased in all types of hyperplasia, especially hyperplasia with atypia. Endocervical micro glandular hyperplasia is known as a benign proliferation of endocervical glands. The florid form of this condition may be mistaken for adenocarcinoma.
