چکیده مقاله:

Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), also known as AML-M۳, is a specific subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It is characterized by the presence of a fusion gene called PML-RAR-alpha. A key feature of APL is its remarkable responsiveness to treatment.Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), alternatively referred to as pseudotumor cerebri, involves an elevation in intracranial pressure and is accompanied by symptoms such as headaches, visual disturbances, and pulsatile tinnitus. In this particular case study, a ۳۰-year-old woman presented with symptoms indicative of IIH, including acute vision loss, severe headaches, and the inability to abduct her eyes. A definitive diagnosis was established through lumbar puncture and imaging. However, the presence of scattered ecchymoses and pancytopenia in the patient's laboratory tests prompted further investigation into potential underlying hematologic-related issues and related diseases.
