New Developments in Chemical Admixture Technology for High Performance Concrete

This article presents an overview of the modern technology of concrete admixtures and the currentstate of its development, describes the main technologies as well as the gaps that exist in each area. It alsoshows the possibility of using PCE in difficult applications. Furthermore, production and application ofother admixtures including C-S-H-PCE nanocomposites as accelerator are reviewed. A forecast of possibledevelopments and innovations in the future is given in the conclusion
