Choosing the best Travel mode for Tehran-Mashhad rout in Peak days

The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method used to make complex decisions by breaking down theproblem into smaller components and organizing the decision criteria and alternatives hierarchically. In our paper, weshowed how AHP can be used to select the best travel mode for commuting between Tehran and Mashhad. We defined theproblem, selected our criteria, assigned weights to each criterion, identified alternatives, compared alternatives against eachcriterion, assigned weights to each alternative, calculated overall scores, and verified the results. Ultimately, the AHPmethod helps decision-makers to make informed decisions by selecting the best option based on their preferences and theselected criteria.
